Three Rivers III Offers Up Gassy Permian-Delaware Basin Acreage; Hopes to Net $1.0 Billion
On the heels of numerous Permian deals already this year, another private company is looking to cash in and sell its assets in the near-term.
At a recent conference, Three Rivers III President Mike Wichterich divulged that the company has hired RBC Capital Markets to assist in the sale of the company's assets. The company was formed in April 2015 with a $500 million equity commitment from Riverstone Holdings.
Currently, Three Rivers' assets consist of approximately 57,000 net acres in the Delaware Basin, spanning Culberson and Reeves counties (see map below).
This will be the third sale of a company under the Three Rivers name. Two previous iterations of the company have been sold in the past five years:
