Trilogy Tightens Budget, Halts Dividends

Trilogy Energy Corp. has announced that it intends to implement a normal course issuer bid through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange pursuant to which Trilogy would be able to purchase up to approximately 6,490,470 of its 105,150,110 common shares outstanding for a one year period at prevailing market prices on the TSX.

The NCIB is subject to the approval of the TSX and if approved would be subject to the rules and restrictions of the TSX relating to normal course issuer bids.

Trilogy believes that, from time to time, the repurchase of its Common Shares for cancellation could represent an appropriate use of its funds to enhance the underlying value of its remaining Common Shares.
