U.S. Frac Spread Count, By Basin/Play - Week Ending May 22, 2020

There have been a lot of you, 19 emails to be exact about wanting us to provide a little more details/ break-out of active frac crews by Basin/Play. While this level of details is normally reserved for our Frac & Completions Database subscribers, we are going to do exactly that in this weeks update.
The Appalachia basin is holding up pretty well compared to the oil basins.
First lets start with total count.
At the end of this week the count was 56 frac crews, but we want to point out that two (2) of those crews will begin working as early as next tuesday and a single crew starting on "wednesday-thursday", this is according to our sources on the ground.
