Ultra Petroleum Funds $850 MM of Pinedale Acquisition

Ultra Petroleum Corp. has announced the pricing of its private placement of $850.0 million aggregate principal amount of 6.125% senior unsecured notes due 2024 at par. The size of the offering was increased from the previously announced $700.0 million aggregate principal amount.
Initial Announcement - September 2, 2014Ultra Petroleum Corp. has announced that, subject to market conditions, the company intends to offer $700.0 million in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2024 in a private placement pursuant to exemptions from registration under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
Ultra intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to fund a portion of the purchase price of its recently announced Pinedale field acquisition.
