ZaZa Sweet Home Prospect Flows Oil, Gas

ZaZa Energy Corporation has reported an initial production rate for the Company's Boening A-1H horizontal well located on its Sweet Home prospect in DeWitt County, Texas.

ZaZa Energy Corporation disclosed that the Boening was drilled to a total measured depth of 18,797 feet, with a 5,163 foot effective lateral section. Under controlled flowback, initial production rates of ~669 barrels of oil equivalent per day (Boe/d), or 264 barrels of oil and 2,434 MCF of natural gas, on a 12/64” choke, were achieved. From a four point test analysis, an absolute open flow rate of 1020 Boe/d, or 420 barrels of oil and 3,600 MCF of natural gas were calculated.
