As E&Ps begin to release 2019 operating plans, Shale Experts is taking a look at how the spending and production is changing YOY.

We looked at major operators in the Permian Basin below.

*Several companies have given ranges in capex / production guidance - the numbers in the charts below represent the midpoint

Permian Basin For the Permian, we looked at Anadarko, Apache, Chevron, Concho, Devon, Diamondback, Earthstone and Parsley. It is important to note that Diamondback's seemingly huge jump in statistics (namely production) is augmented by its acquisitions of Ajax Resources and Energen.

Spending in the Permian amongst these operators will be up over $2.3 billion (+24% on average) in 2019 in comparison to 2018.

We estimate these companies' total production will grow 33% to over 290…
