Comstock Resources reported its Q3 2018 results as well as detailed its 2019 capital plans.
2019 Budget- 2019 budget of $377 million (up +48% from 2018)
Haynesville/Bossier shale drilling and completion activities comprise $361.3 million The remaining $15.7 milliion will be spent on its other properties- Drill 57 horizontal wells (38.2 net wells)
- Increase rig count from four to five in March 2019
Q3 Drilling ActivityComstock drilled 27 Haynesville/Bossier natural gas wells (9.9 net) and had 16 wells (4.9 net) drilling at September 30, 2018. Comstock also completed eleven (4.0 net) operated Haynesville wells that were drilled in 2017.
