EP Energy provided an update via its December 2015 investor presentation and has provided a glimpse into its 2016 development plans.

Shale Experts has looked at the data and projected on what the company has in store for 2016.

Budget Projection

We estimate that EP Energy will set a 2016 budget of ~$1.0 billion. This compares to 2015 spending of $1.2-1.25 billion.

Well Projection

In 2015, EP completed a total of 183 wells, the majority in the Eagle Ford.

For 2016, we esimate that the company will complete between 130-160 wells and once again be focused primarily on the Eagle Ford.
