Earthstone's Output Growth Stalls in Q2; IPs Hit by Inadequate Disposal Capacity

Earthstone Energy reported its Q2 2018 results.

Production - Growth Slows Down in Recent Months

- Q2 production of 8,845 BOEPD (up +12% YOY and down -8% from 1Q18)

While Earthstone saw a sizable production jump from 2016 to 2017, its output has displayed relatively small growth in recent months, as seen below: Midland - Wells Hampered by Inadequate Disposal Capacity

A number of Earthstone's well projects, including the two-well West Hargrove and the Hargrove 22A unit have seen restricted IP rates due to the company not having enough saltwater disposal capacity.

The company is in talks with third-party providers to see if we can increase allocated capacity. If allocated saltwater disposal capacity is increased in the near-term, we would expect to install artificial lift on these wells…
