Pressure pumpers are making the most of 2017's resurgence in completion activity, spurring several M&A deals and fueling the creation of newcomers hitting the IPO market.

These recent developments are being supported by an increase in D&C spending (particularly in the Permian and Eagle Ford), which equates more well completions and higher production rates.
