Jagged Peak Ups Well Activity for 2019 Despite -14% Capex Drop

Jagged Peak Energy has detailed its 2019 capital plan.

More Drilling, Less Capital Thanks to Well Cost Improvements

For 2019, Jagged Peak is turning more wells in line despite a 14% cut to its DC&E budget.

According to the company, this was possible by reducing average cost per lateral foot by approximately 15% year over year, to approximately $1,250 per lateral foot.

The Company's 2019 capital expenditure program is primarily focused on the continued development of the Wolfcamp A formation in Whiskey River and Cochise.

2019 Plans

- 2019 Capex: $665 million (down -11% from 2018)

$605MM DC&E (down -14% from $690 million DC&E for 2018)

- Well Plans: TIL 54 gross (51 net) wells (up +6% from 48 net wells)
