MDU Resources Taps New Chief Information Officer

MDU Resources Group Inc. announced that Peggy A. Link has been named chief information officer, effective Jan. 1.

David L. Goodin, president and CEO of MDU Resources, said: "Peggy has extensive knowledge in the information technology arena. She brings more than 25 years of experience to her new role, which will serve the corporation well. A key strength Peggy brings to the role is her people and project management capabilities, which is so important in the information technology function of any business."

In her expanded role, Link will oversee information technology at MDU Resources, as well as the corporation's business units WBI Energy, Inc. and the utility group, which includes Cascade Natural Gas Corp., Great Plains Natural Gas Co., Intermountain Gas Co. and Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.

Link joined the corporation in 2005 and has led the enterprise technology services function since 2007. In 2015, she was named assistant vice president of technology and cybersecurity officer.

Link has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Mary. She serves on the board of the Information Technology Council of North Dakota and is a member of the State Information Technology Advisory Committee.
