Delaware Basin E&P on the Market
Denver-based Franklin Mountain Energyreportedly exploring a sale of it's permian Basin assets valued at $3 billion. Led by refining billionaire Paul Foster, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday that sources close to the matter say Franklin Mountain has hired Jefferies FInancial Group Inc to manage the sale of the refiner, with price expectations at around $3 billion.
Double Eagle IV is said to be exploring of it's permian basin assets for $6.5 billion including debt. Double Eagle is backed by Encap, Apollow and management. According to recent public data and youtube interviews the company has amass some ~50k net acres in the core of the Midland Basin and has ramped up drilling & completions with the aim to produce 80mboe/d by year end.
