Amistad Energy Partners, LLC announced a $150 million equity commitment from Kayne Anderson Energy Funds and members of the management team. Amistad is being formed to target the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas assets in North America.

Amistad is a newly formed independent oil and gas company headquartered in Houston, Texas. The Amistad management team is led by Bryant Chapman, President and CEO; Paul Bradley, Senior Vice President and CFO; Roger Reddin, Senior Vice President of Production; and Chris Harder, Senior Vice President of Drilling and Completion.
