Northern Oil's 3Q Output Tracking 'Substantially' Above Guidance

Northern Oil and Gas announced that preliminary production for July and August, 2018 averaged in excess of 25,000 BOEPD, substantially ahead of the Company's prior guidance of 23,000 - 24,000 Boe per day for the third quarter of 2018.

This production does not reflect the Company's pending acquisitions from Pivotal Petroleum Partners and W Energy Partners, both of which are expected to close on schedule.

Northern's Chief Executive Officer, Brandon Elliott said: "Strong well performance continues to exceed our internal expectations. Our core acreage position and execution on the ground continues to provide some of the best wells we have ever seen in the Williston Basin. Operationally, the Company is firing on all cylinders and has set the stage for a strong production base as we work toward closing our pending acquisitions in the coming weeks."
