PDC Cuts 2020 Capex Again; Senior Execs Take 15% Pay Cut

PDC Energy Inc. has detailed additional changes to its 2020 plan.

The company previously cut its 2020 capex by 23% on March 11, 2020.

Capital Budget

PDC plans to reduce its expected 2020 capex to a range of $500 to $600 million - a decrease of nearly 50% compared to its original budget of $1.0 to $1.1 billion.

The cuts will come from estimated service cost savings as well as further reductions to planned drilling and completion activity - see below. 

Senior Management Takes 15% Pay Cut

Additionally PDC announced a 15% voluntary pay cut to its senior management team and Board of Directors.
