PetroQuest Energy has detailed its Q4 2016 results.
Operations UpdateIn South Louisiana, the Company recently achieved its targeted Thunder Bayou production rate and the well is currently flowing at approximately 61,000 Mcfe/d (NRI - 37%). The production mix consists of approximately 39,000 Mcf/d of gas, 1,500 Bbls/d of oil and 2,200 Bbls/d of natural gas liquids. The oil production rate of approximately 36/Bbls of oil per 1/MMcf of gas is approximately 50% higher than forecasted and significantly exceeds the oil yield realized in the lower section of the Cris R-2 formation rate of approximately 24/Bbls of oil per 1/MMcf of gas.
