QEP Going Pure-Play in the Permian; Talks 2018 Plans

QEP Resources announced its 2018 outlook, Q4 results as well as its plans to sell off its Bakken / Uinta assets and become a pure-play Permian E&P.

The company's holdings are concentrated in the Midland Basin.

QEP is not the first company to refocus their portfolio on the Permian. In February, Pioneer Natural Resources also announced its plans to become a pure-play Permian E&P.
