Shell Restarts Vaca Muerta Ops After Halt Caused by Seismic Activity

After halting activity due to seismic activity, Shell has restarted operations at the Bajada de Añelo block in Argentina, according to a report by Reuters.

The seismic activity, which was centered in the Andes Mountains near the Chilean border, was initially detected on Saturday June 6, 2020.

As a result, the company paused operations at its "Pad 22" site as a precaution. According to a statement by Shell, it resumed operations on Tuesday June 9, 2020.
