Tanager Energy Inc. reported the appointment of Mr. Marc Rhoades as the new Chief Executive Officer of Tanager.
About Rhoades
Mr. Rhoades has over 28 years of experience serving as a senior executive of upstream oil and gas companies operating in Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Rhoades previously served as CEO of Greenbrier Operating Company from 1990 until the successful sale in 2000 to Coastal Oil & Gas.. He then co-founded Camden Resources, Inc. and acted as its CEO from 2000 to 2007. Initially financed by Yorktown Partners, Camden Resources, Inc. was successfully merged into Cinco Natural Resources. In 2008, Marc founded and served as CEO of Camden Advisors, which is a consulting advisory firm in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Marc received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 from the University of Texas. Mr. Rhoades is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
In connection with Mr. Rhoades’ appointment, Mr. Thomas M. Crain, Jr., the former CEO, will remain on the Board of Tanager and has been appointed as President of the Corporation. In addition, Mr. Roger S. Braugh, Jr., a current board member, has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board.
