After an incredibly difficult start to the year thanks to COVID-19 and the oil price war, numerous operators have said that they will restart drilling operations in 3Q after taking a frac holiday and building DUC inventories in 2Q.

Here are the specifics from several E&Ps, including Marathon Oil, WPX Energy, Parsley Energy, Diamondback and Noble.

Marathon Oil

Marathon plans to restart its D&C activity in Q3 2020 following a frac holiday during Q2.

In its Q1 call, Marathon noted the following:
