Vantage Energy Re-files IPO

Vantage Energy late tuesday (9-13-2016) filed a S1, (IPO documents) to go public.  The company will be listed on the NYSE under the symbol VEI.

Vantage Energy owns interests in 88,634 net acres in Greene County, of which 13,642 acres are held in fee and 5,027 of such fee acres are leased to third parties.

The company is looking to raise $100 million in the filing. 

This would be the first IPO in two years.   Earlier this year, Centennial Resources also filed S1 documents but the company was acquired before its stock could be sold on the public markets.

As you might remember Vantage Energy filed confidentially on May 14, 2014, and then postponed the filing.

Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Citi, J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing…
