New E&P Files to Go Public; Looking to Raise Millions

Liberty Resources Acquisition, a blank check E&P company, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million.

The company is led by CEO and Chairman Maznah Binti Abdul Jalil, who most recently served as the Executive Director and CFO of Sona Petroleum Berhad.

The company will be listed on the NASDAQ under the symbol LBTYU.

Focus Area

The company will focus on developing resources in the Middle East / Central Asia region, across several countries.

"We believe that there are many resources in Central Asia that have been left stranded because domestic investors have less access to affordable capital. This is reflected in the high interest rates in a number of prospective regions, as indicated below."
