Vermilion Energy Increases 2014 Guidance, Budget

Vermilion Energy Inc. has reported operating and unaudited financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2014.

Highlights Achieved average production of 49,920 boe/d during Q3 2014, a decrease of 4% as compared to 52,089 boe/d in the prior quarter and an increase of 20% compared to 41,510 boe/d in Q3 2013. Lower quarter-over-quarter production was primarily due to a 7% decrease in Canada resulting from lower levels of drilling and completions activity during spring breakup, and managed production in Australia and the Netherlands consistent with overall corporate production targets.
