WildHorse IDs Eagle Ford-Focused 2018 Capex; Up Over 20% YOY

WildHorse Resource Development detailed its 2018 plans and guidance. The company also gave its estimated end year 2017 results.

2018 Details:

- 2018 Capex: $765-875 million

D&C: $700-800 million (up +22% from the midpoint of 2017) Other (Sand Mine Construction): $65-75 million

- 2018 Production Guidance: 53.0 - 56.0 Mboe/d (representing total production growth of 80% at the midpoint of guidance over 2017's estimated average daily production)

- 4.8 rigs running (Eagle Ford / Austin Chalk)

Drilling and completion activity will be weighted toward the first half of 2018 as WRD transitions from 7.0 rigs at the beginning of the year to 4.0 rigs at mid-year for an average of 4.8 rigs in the Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk during 2018. WRD has no commitments on its drilling rig fleet. In…
