YPF and Bridas To Jointly Develop Argentina's Vaca Muerta
President and CEO of YPF, Galuccio Miguel and Carlos and Alejandro Bulgheroni, by Bridas, signed today, an agreement for starting the massive development in unconventional Vaca Muerta formation, Neuquén, in an area of 663 km2 comprising areas and Bandurria Añelo Descent.
The proposed shale oil and shale gas starting in 2013 will include a delineation program accelerated, and a factory pilot mode for a total of 130 wells will be drilled over the next two years.
The program includes an initial investment for the next 24 months of 1.5 billion dollars, in which Bridas begin acquiring 35% of Down Area Añelo and 24.5% of Bandurria.
