Continental Cuts Rigs by Nearly 20% for 2019; Goes 50/50 on Bakken, MidCon Spending

Continental Resources has reported its capital and operating plan for 2019.

*Budget assumes $55 per barrel WTI and $3.00 per Mcf Henry Hub

2019 Plans - 50/50 Capex for Bakken & Oklahoma

- 2019 Capex: $2.6 billion ($2.2 billion D&C)

Oklahoma / MidCon: $1.1 billion Bakken: $1.1 billion

- 2019 Production: Expects approximately 330-343 MBOEPD in production

13% to 19% YOY Oil Production Growth to 190,000 to 200,000 Bopd 1% to 4% YOY Natural Gas Production Growth to 790,000 to 810,000 Mcfpd

- Well Plans: Complete 207 net (307 gross) wells

Oklahoma / MidCon: Complete 100 net (141 gross) wells Bakken: Complete 107 net (166 gross) wells

- Rigs: 25 rigs running (down -19% from 31 at year-end 2018, however it is up by one rig from 2018's average rig count of 24)
