Eaglebine Heading Up

Over the last 3-4 weeks, the Eaglebine play has taken center stage as operators look to better understand the formation.
Most recently, SM Energy reported results from an 'exciting' Woodbine oil well and on April 15, a private company added to its Eaglebine/Woodbine portfolio through an asset deal with a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy Corp.
In previous weeks, we also saw Crimson showcase a big Woodbine well IP.
Halcon Resources is another company looking to ramp up activity in the play. On April 15, the company reported that it plans to spud 60-65 (operated) wells in the Eaglebine/Woodbine area (Halcon has a total of 220,000 acres in the play).
Additionally, some of the best producers in the Eagle Ford Shale are entering the nearby Eaglebine play, as seen via ZaZa and EOG Resources'…
