Sanchez Touts Eagle Ford IPs; Lowers Well Costs to $4.5MM

Sanchez Energy Corporation announced operating results for the second quarter 2015. Highlights included Eagle Ford Catarina well results and lower well costs.

Highlights: Well costs in Catarina have decreased from approximately $6.5 million per well that was budgeted at the start of 2015, to below $4.5 million currently. The two most recent two-well pads at South-Central Catarina have averaged 24-hour initial production (IP) rates between 1,400 and 1,800 BOE/D and are trending in line with the strongest wells in Western Catarina.
