U.S. E&P Companies Continue to Consolidate; Oasis, Chesapeake, Laredo, PVA, & More

A big trend for 2021 sees E&Ps expanding their asset portfolios in core areas, while simultaneously discarding their positions in non-core plays.

Companies such as Whiting, Chesapeake, Oasis, Laredo, and numerous others have struck deals recently that bulk up their positions in certain area. Additionally, a good number of them have signed concurrent divestment deals involving other assets.

Below is a look at the deals that fit this emerging trend.
