Enerplus Increasing Bakken Well Density After Tests

In its latest investor presentation, Enerplus Corp. has unveiled the results of its North Dakota Bakken/Three Forks density tests and has IDed what it believes to be the optimal well density.
Enerplus' Position Density Pilot ResultsAfter concluding density tests across its position, Enerplus has honed in on an average well density of seven wells, an increase from its previous well density.
Enerplus has IDed 270 drilling locations, the majority of which will be long lateral wells.
Evolving Completion DesignSince 2012, Enerplus has increased well performance by enhancing its completion strategy.
