FTS Closing Doors on Shreveport Office After Losing Work from 'Major Customer'

Frac services company FTS International is closing down its Shreveport, Louisiana office, according to a report by The Advocate.

In a report to employment regulators in the state, FTS stated that it unexpectedly lost a bulk of work from major customer in the area, which directly influenced the decision.

Shale Experts CEO Rons Dixon believes the customer is Range Resources (who announced it was slowing its Haynesville activity in early 2018).

As Shale Experts reported earlier this month, FTS announced it was cutting frac crews and curtailing frac activity in response to operators hitting the brakes on D&C activity
