Lundin Petroleum AB has announced that it has applied for a decision from the Ontario Securities Commission that it is no longer a reporting issuer in Ontario.
This application follows the Company's voluntarily delisting from the Toronto Stock Exchange on 14 November 2014.
The Company is not a reporting issuer in any Canadian jurisdiction other than Ontario. If the requested decision is granted by the OSC, the Company will cease being a reporting issuer in Canada and, as a result, will no longer be required to file financial statements and other continuous disclosure materials with any Canadian securities regulatory authorities.
A decision by the OSC to permit the Company to cease to be a reporting issuer in Ontario will not affect the Company's listing on NASDAQ Stockholm or its continuous disclosure obligations in Sweden. The Company will continue to file financial statements and other continuous disclosure materials required to be filed by it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of Sweden, including the rules and policies of NASDAQ Stockholm. All such continuous disclosure materials of the Company are publicly available to all Lundin Petroleum shareholders on the Company's website at www.lundin-petroleum.com and Lundin Petroleum shareholders resident in Canada will continue to receive copies of continuous disclosure materials and other documents that are required to be delivered to shareholders in Sweden, in the same manner and at the same time as is required under the applicable laws and regulations in Sweden, including the rules and policies of NASDAQ Stockholm.
