Biden Revokes Keystone XL Pipeline Permit

President Biden has signed a flurry of new executive orders. One including the revocation of a permit for TC Energy's Keystone XL oil pipeline project from Canada. This is a an update from the prior story we ran yesterday.

Reuters is reporting that the Joe Biden administration is planning to cancel the permit for the $9.3 billion keystone pipeline project. The words The words "Rescind Keystone XL pipeline permit" appear on a list of executive actions likely scheduled for the first day of Biden's presidency, according to an earlier report.
The project, which would move oil from the province of Alberta to Nebraska, had been slowed by legal issues in the United States.
