Delphi Energy transitioned to slickwater hybrid fracs in the Montney and is seeing greatly improved results. This enables more stages and cheaper wells, as well as greater total yields in Delphi's Montney wells.
The company's gas and NGL production have both increased significantly:
The total sales and yields were higher for the new slickwater hybrid wells, despite a lower initial test compared to the previous method.
Delphi's position is offset by majors including Chevron, ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips:
