Global One Transport, Inc. has reported the shipment of the first unit train of Uinta Basin crude from its Price River Terminal (PRT) crude-by-rail facility.
Jason Dial, Vice President -- Business Development for Global One Transport, Inc., commented: "The establishment of unit train capabilities at PRT is a major milestone in the development of our facility."
The facility is currently being expanded to include automated truck unloading racks and tankage to provide area producers with the flow assurance they need to efficiently manage their business. Future expansion is scheduled for transloading of dry bulk commodities, such as frac sand, ceramic proppants, tubular pipe, oil field equipment, building products and other materials to support the drilling industry.
