The Canadian province of Alberta has increased and extended its oil curtailments, according to multiple reports.
The limit has been doubled to 20,000 barrels per day (per producer) and the program will be extended through year-end 2020.
These new rules have been set in an effort to combat the oversupply the region is experiencing. A number of Canadian E&Ps will be affected by the ruling, including:
