Anterra Energy Inc. has reported the appointment of Norman Knecht as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Knecht is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years executive experience in financial reporting and analysis, corporate finance and strategic planning in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Mr. Knecht was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Terrex Energy Inc., the company acquired by Anterra in March 2013. Prior to Terrex, Mr. Knecht was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Compton Petroleum Corp. Mr. Knecht's knowledge and experience will make him a strong addition to Anterra's executive team.
Mr. Knecht replaces Qiping Men, who resigned from the position after two and a half years. The board of directors of Anterra thanks Mr. Men for his contributions and efforts on behalf of the Company.
