Cross Country Pipeline Names New President

Cross Country Pipeline Supply Co. Inc. has named Gerald ″Gerry″ A. Plescia as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Plescia most recently served as a Managing Partner with PH Global Consulting, Inc.

With more than three decades of experience at Hertz, Mr. Plescia’s hands-on leadership style will be very effective in growing Cross Country. Mr. Plescia has a history of executing successful organic growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions, and will build upon Cross Country’s strong position as a key supplier to the expanding domestic oil and gas pipeline construction industry. In the coming weeks and months, together with Cross Country’s President John James and the entire executive team, Mr. Plescia will outline his plans to further build strong relationships with customers, execute on current projects, and pursue a range of attractive growth opportunities.

As a Managing Partner with PH Global Consulting, Mr. Plescia served as a strategic consultant for private equity firms focusing on construction and industrial services companies. For over 20 years Mr. Plescia served as an executive with Hertz Global Holdings. In his last position with Hertz – Executive Vice President, Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. and President, Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. – he oversaw meaningful growth and several successful acquisitions of various sizes.
