Cross Country Pipeline Supply Co., Inc. has named Dave D’Angelo as its Chief Financial Officer and Anthony J. Gonnella as its Vice President of Sales, both reporting directly to CEO Gerry Plescia.
Mr. D’Angelo most recently served as controller for Advantage Rent-A-Car and Mr. Gonnella was a Managing Partner with Peak Performance Group.
Messrs. Plescia, D’Angelo and Gonnella worked closely together during their tenure with Hertz Equipment Rental Corp.

Mr. D’Angelo has more than 30 years of finance and operations executive experience with demonstrated success in the general/industrial rental industry. Prior to joining Advantage Rent-A-Car he served as President and Operating Partner with DPD Consulting and SNK Capital LLC. From 1996 to 2010 he held a number of executive financial positions with Hertz Equipment Rental Corp and Hertz Rent-A-Car, including Vice President and Controller of Hertz Equipment Rental Corp from 1998 through 2010.
Mr. Gonnella has over 25 years of experience in sales and operations management in the equipment rental industry. He held positions of Global Vice President of Sales and Vice President of National Accounts during his tenure with Hertz Equipment Rental Corp from 1997 through 2011. He spearheaded the development, then managed the growth of Hertz' Plant Services Group, plus significantly grew their industry leading National Account Program. He oversaw a sales force of over 600 professionals. In 2012 and 2013 he performed consulting services to the broader construction and industrial equipment services industries as Managing Partner with the Peak Performance Group.
Mr. D’Angelo and Mr. Gonnella were core components of Mr. Plescia's team that grew Hertz Equipment Rental Corp from a $400 million predominantly U.S. based construction equipment rental company in the late 1990s, to a fully diversified $1.8 billion global equipment rental company in the late 2000s.
