Frac Fleets in Free Fall

Some 118 fleets were taken off the market between Q2 and Q3, which is the largest reduction in frac fleets in any quarter ever, according to data from Shale Experts Frac Fleet Database.

One frac company said last week it has permanently retired 300,000 horsepower of pressure pumping equipment.
