NorTex Midstream Partners, LLC has named Ben Moore to lead the company as President and Chief Executive Officer.
He joins NorTex with 25 years of experience in business development, operations and engineering in both the upstream and midstream energy sectors.
Moore said,"I'm excited to have the opportunity to guide NorTex's future growth. We're fortunate to have an asset base that offers an advantaged platform for organic growth and potential midstream acquisitions. Over the past several years, NorTex has expanded gas storage capacity and deliverability, while also adding capabilities for processing third party gas. In addition to furthering our growth initiatives, I look forward to continuing the NorTex tradition of delivering innovative, price-competitive storage and transportation solutions to the North Texas marketplace."
Prior to joining NorTex, Moore spent 12 years at Enstor, Iberdrola Renewable's gas storage subsidiary, where he served as Vice President of Operations & Engineering, as well as Vice President of Business Development. Prior to Iberdrola, he served as Director of Marketing & Midstream Businesses for Dominion Resources. He started his career as a reservoir engineer with Tenneco Oil Company and Shell Offshore Inc.
Moore earned an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
