Push for Anti-Fracking Bill Revived by Colorado Environmental Group
A Colorado environmental group has revived its push to get an anti-fracking bill on the ballot by November 2020, according to a report by Reuters.
This comes a mere two weeks after the group postponed its anti-fracking efforts in early June 2020 due to COVID 19.
In the past four years, there have been three attempts to pass related legislation, all of which have come up short. The latest occurred in 2018, but the measure did not garner enough votes to be ultimately passed.
More information on the initiative (coined "Initiative 174") is available on the official State of Colorado website.
