Rig Activity - January 4 2019; Powder River Up, Permian, Bakken, Marcellus down

This week, we are taking a look the weekly rig activity.
Observations.
The Midland Sub Basin is the only area where we saw a slight increase in rig count, all other basins were either flat or down.
Delaware Basin is down -7 rigs, most of this reduction is led by ExxonMobil. The company cut it count this week by -5 rigs from 19 to 14.
Oil Basins
STACK/SCOOP is down -2 rigs
Eagle Ford is down -1 rig
Bakken/Williston Basin is down -2 rigs
Niobrara/DJ Basin is down -4 rigs
Gas Basins
Marcellus is down -6 rigs
Barnett Shale is up +1 rig
Haynesville Shale, no change
