Liquids Basins
- Permian Basin is down (-23 ) rigs
- Eagle ford is down (-3) rigs
- Bakken / Williston Basin is down (-5) rigs.
- STACK/SCOOP is down (-7) rigs.
- DJ Basin is up+3
Gas Basins
- Marcellus down -1
- Haynesville down -1
- Ohio Utica up +1
Rig Count by Operator
Here is a look at some of the operators who dropped rigs this week. Private Equity backed Surge Operating has cut its rig count in half to 2, Exxon dropped 2 rigs this week. Continental Resources also dropped two rigs.
