Summit ESP has reported the opening of a six acre ESP cable service facility in Hermleigh, Texas.
This new full service cable and repair facility will allow Summit ESP to respond immediately to customer spooling service requests in the Golden Triangle; the Big Spring, Snyder, and Abilene areas.
Summit ESP provides a complete line of high performance Polypropylene Nitrile and EPDM cables designed to the exacting standards required for electric submersible pumping systems.
Jimmy Travis, manager of Summit's Permian field service, commented: "Over the next couple of months, we plan to equip and staff this state-of-the-art facility for the working and repair of ESP cable and for servicing our clients with immediate response in the Eastern Permian. With highly experienced field personnel already in the area, Hermleigh will become the base for advanced cable, service and spooling operations in the Eastern Permian Basin."
