Currently, Devon holds 82,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford (50% working interest; 38% net revenue interest). The company's assets were significantly boosted this year through an asset deal with GeoSouthern. For 2014, the company plans to devote $1.1 billion to drill approximately 200 wells.

Devon/Geosouthern seem to have developed a standardized approach in their Eagle Ford Wells, though using almost twice as much water volume in Gonzales County.  Notably they do not use slickwater in their frac design.

The company has considerably derisked its Eagle Ford assets and boasts approximately 1,200 drilling locations.
