Halliburton is Right, Proppant Use Per Well is Down; Here is the Data

In its Q2 2017 conference call, Halliburton outlined its thoughts on what it sees as a interesting proppant data point - noting that proppant per well levels fell overall in Q2 (**please note that Q2 data has not yet been fully tabulated).

In the call, Halliburton President & CEO Jeff Miller said: "For the first time in years, in the second quarter we experienced our first decline in average sand pump for well. Let me repeat that because I think this is important. We saw a decline in the average sand pump per well. And while this is only one data point, it's something we will be watching."
