Map: 5.0 Oklahoma Earthquake Shuts In Wells in Cushing Area
A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit the Cushing, Oklahoma area on November 6 and the state is shutting in wells in the are located in the affected area.
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) has issued a directive that has shut in 58 disposal wells across a 700 square-mile area. Other operators were told to restrict injection volumes at their wells.
