Occidental Petroleum will relocate its Investor Relations office from New York to its Houston headquarters and that Richard A. Jackson has been appointed Vice President, Investor Relations.
Mr. Jackson joined Occidental in 2003 from ExxonMobil. He has held key leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility in Qatar, the Permian Basin, South Texas and Worldwide Drilling and Completions. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Jackson holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering.
Additionally, Anthony J. Cottone, previously Director - Investor Relations, has been promoted to Senior Director and will focus on further enhancing Occidental's relationships with securities analysts and institutional shareholders. Mr. Cottone joined Occidental in 2012 from the Macquarie Group, where he held several financial and marketing roles. A graduate of Emory University, Mr. Cottone holds a bachelor's degree in finance, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
